This template is used on approximately 7,600 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them.

This template should be used on pages about a living person that only rely on one source.

Usage

This template should be placed after any hatnote templates (e.g. {{About}}, {{Distinguish}}), but before the actual article content. Any pages that use this template are placed into a subcategory of Category:BLP articles lacking sources, depending on what date the template was added to the pages. They are also added to Category:All BLP articles lacking sources.
