Fillauth is a 2D role-playing video game set in a wasteland after nuclear fallout.[1] It was developed by Dark Peninsula Studios - a division of Oxeye Game Studio - in August 2008 for a Bootleg Demake competition, featuring as a demake of Black Isle Studio's Fallout.[1][2]
The team wanted to create a version of the game that was similar to games from the 1990s, citing Dune II as an example. To achieve this, they changed the perspective from 3D to 2D but otherwise kept core gameplay elements.[1][2]
They managed to develop the game in just 10 days.[1][2]
