Strategist, also known as The Strategist, is a real-time strategy game by Oxeye Game Studio. Oxeye no longer owns the rights to Strategist,[3], having sold them to Playlogic International. Playlogic has since gone bankrupt.[4][5]
Gameplay
Strategist's core gameplay loop consists of directing quantities of troops across domestic territory to attack and conquer enemy territory while defending domestic command centers. The game ends when the player loses all their command centers, or when the player successfully destroy the enemy's command centers.[6]
In Quick Play and multiplayer, the player decides their starting position on a map for themself. The starting position is predetermined in the various campaigns and custom scenarios.
At the start of the player's turn, they are air-dropped a variable number of troops. After deciding where the air-dropped troops go, the player can use their moves attacking enemy territory, constructing new structures, using Command Center actions, or upgrading units.[6]
(Break down attacking territory here)
(Upgrading units here, because it changes how units attack territory)
(Structures explanation here (1-3 sentences each) (talk about command centers last to better flow into command center actions))
(Command Center Actions here)
At the end of the player's turn, the enemy takes their turn. The loop continues until a player wins.
