Daniel joined Oxeye at the very beginning in 2002, along with Pontus "Kinten" Hammarberg.[3]

He studied Human Computer Interaction at Malmö University from 2004 to 2007, obtaining a Master's degree in Interaction Design.[7]

He was contracted as a game designer, UI designer and game developer for Minecraft Dungeons from 2018 to 2021. Following that, he joined Mojang Studios as a principal prototype specialist (the same position as Pontus "Kinten" Hammarberg).[7]

He describes working there on "Assorted secret projects", using Godot, Unreal Engine 4, Unity, C# and Pixi.js. His responsibilities involve game design, prototyping and remote user testing, along with concept generation and development.[7]
